DETAIL

A very smart French gilded bronze and engraved double door frame with strapwork and banded agate. It opens with a sprung action to reveal 5 oval apertures. Dating from the late 19th C it is beautifully made and has the mark of the original retailer, Carlisle and Watts, Edinburgh engraved on the strut.

 DIMENSIONS: 

23 cm high x 23 cm wide when closed – when open the width is 27.5 cm. The aperture sizes are each 5 x 4 cm.
